Girls Night out, Birthday Parties, etc. your place or ours
Using acrylic paint, you will learn how to paint on canvas, wood and glass. The many examples of art throughout the shop, and creations of past student projects will be your inspiration. You will start by learning the basics of stroke work, and before you know it your own painting style will emerge. All levels of experience are welcome! From the beginner to the advanced, you will learn how to paint or improve upon what you already know.
Our community of students inspire and encourage each other. At Hanging on a Whim, we don’t just choose one project for everyone to paint, simultaneously. Everyone works on a project of their choosing. One student may be painting on canvas, another on a piece of furniture, and another on wine glasses.
In addition to painting, Hanging on a Whim teaches students how to work in tile and glass to create mosaics for hanging, or applied to tables, flower pots or other home furnishings.
In addition to art classes, Hanging on a Whim hosts Girls Night Out events, birthday parties, retirement parties, bachelorette nights and more. Ladies leave with a finished project, and you’re welcome to bring in food and drinks.
